STRIVE's candidates debate cancelled

There are two upcoming debates regarding election issues

The Strive Young Professionals Group (Strive YPG) has announced its debate for local federal election candidates has been cancelled.

The debate, which was scheduled to take place on Monday at SOO Blaster from 6-8 p.m., was to focus on topics impacting professionals between the age of 19 and 40.

There is a debate taking place tomorrow through the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and issues specifically affecting business and the economy will be the topic of discussion. A limited number of tickets are available here.

The second event is co-hosted by Algoma University. Issues ranging from business and the economy to social issues and Canadian priorities will be the topics of discussion at this in-depth candidate's panel on Thursday, Sept. 16.
