VIDEO: Goulais Bay freezes crystal clear for the first time in recent memory

One resident reckons this hasn't happened in at least 50 years

Videos have been surfacing from Goulais showcasing a crystal clear bay.

You can see all sorts of things through the transparent sheet of ice: Clams, tires, and virtually everything else down there, including fish carrying out what I can only assume is a hellishly cold daily grind.

Justin Shuttleworth, who lives out there, says even his mother, a life-long resident, has only seen this happen once before in her lifetime.

This cameraman found it truly breathtaking and if you have a chance, do yourself a favour and check it out as you may not get to for another 50 years.
