Daniel honks mom's horn on the way to Fort Creek hill (24 photos)

SooToday decided to take a wander off the beaten path in the Fort Creek Conservation Area on Friday morning and there we met Daniel Beaudoin who is turning three at the end of March.

He and his mom, Tara, with whom he shares his birthday, were there to do some sliding on the hill.

Apparently, next to sliding on the hill, his favourite thing to do is honk the horn on mom's car, or so he informed us with a giggle.

As freezing rain is forecast this weekend, we thought it best to get out in the bush with our snowshoes while we could.

The trek was delightful.
