Two police officers were gunned down Tuesday night in Innisfil, Ont., prompting an outpouring of grief — and anger — across the province.
Constables Devon Northrup and Morgan Russell of the South Simcoe Police Service were responding to a disturbance call at a house when they were shot. A 23-year-old man, who was armed with an SKS semi-automatic rifle, was also killed.
