Ontario’s Integrity Commissioner has released his annual report and is urging MPP’s to look after their own house and shore up their conflict of interest and gift giving rules. J. David Wake has also suggested he should be given more power to initiate official inquiries into MPPs.

OPP in East Algoma are on the lookout for a trio of really good smelling thieves. It seems the three have gone on a spree, taking more than $1000 in perfume and cologne from a store in Elliot Lake and possibly doing the same in Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie.

High levels of air pollution continue to plague a number of regions in Ontario. Smoke plumes from forest fires in northeastern Ontario and Quebec are forecast to return to the area today or tonight.

A lottery prize of 70 million dollars is in jeopardy of being unclaimed if nobody comes forward prior to tonight's deadline. One year has passed and since then, OLG says it has received more than 1100 calls from people saying they have lost the winning ticket.
