Second advance vote day sees over 1,100 ballots cast

With advance voting for the 2022 municipal election underway, the second day was a busy one.

Nearly 1,200 voters cast their ballots at the Ronald A. Irwin Civic Centre on Wednesday.

A breakdown of the advance voting from Wednesday includes:

• Ward 1 - 309                  
• Ward 2 - 278                  
• Ward 3 - 229                  
• Ward 4 - 208                  
• Ward 5 - 156                  
• Total: 1,180   

In 2018, 897 electors participated in the second advance vote day.  

The final advance vote day will be held Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Civic Centre.

Voting Day for the 2022 Municipal Election is Monday, October 24 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
