LIVE ELECTION FORUM TONIGHT: Ward 4, Ward 5 and mayoral candidates square off

Livestreams start at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Tonight's the night the contenders for city council's top job will answer the questions that matter.

The mayor's forum, hosted by Algoma University, the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce and SooToday, will take place at the Civic Centre at 8 p.m. and will be livestreamed here on SooToday.

Also, if you live in Wards 4 or 5 (see ward map here), you'll want to tune in on SooToday at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. respectively as candidates for those council seats gather for forums of their own.

Candidates for mayor are: Ozzie Grandinetti, Donna Hilsinger, Tobin Kern, Robert Peace and Matthew Shoemaker.

Candidates for Ward 4 are: Marchy Bruni, David Celetti, Stephan Kinach and Marek McLeod.

Candidates for Ward 5 are: Gideon Down, Corey Gardi, Martin Poirier and Matthew Scott.

Tonight's forums are among six taking place at the Civic Centre as the Oct. 24 vote looms. Check the links below for Wards 1, 2 and 3 forums.
