Only very minor glitches reported by city’s corporate communications officer

Tessa Vecchio, the city’s corporate communications officer, says the election generally went “smoothly” today.

The only minor glitches were that a provincial system for helping voters determine which wards they vote in was operating slower than usual, and there was one complaint about candidate signs on the property of a polling station, which Vecchio says was quickly resolved by having the signs moved across the street.
