***************************** Update to fire at Court House under investigation

The investigation is ongoing.

The fire marshall and investigators with the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service are now clear from the scene.

Police will be waiting on reports from the fire marshall on the cause of the fire.

The Court House remains closed at this time and it is unknown when it will re-open.

Scheduled and upcoming matters continue to be dealt with and or re-scheduled at the off site designated buildings including the Crown’s office building located adjacent to the Court House, Provincial Court located at the Civic Centre, the boardroom at the Roberta Bondar building and at the Queen's Centre building.
