Stolen from a residence

LAIRD, ON - Sometime between Thursday April 5, 2012, and Friday, April 12, 2012, approximately $6-thousand worth of solar panels were stolen from a residence in the 1500 block of Government Road in Laird Township.

The installed panels were removed from the south side of a newly constructed home.

They are described as:

• 4 panels – 6 ft x 3 ½ ft, Solarworld SW245 Mono brand, silver in colour

• 8 panels – 18 ft x 3 ft, Canadian Tire brand

OPP are looking for a suspect vehicle seen in the area.

The vehicle is described as a black pickup truck with a black cap.

The truck had a ladder strapped to the roof at the time with a male driver and female passenger.
