City Council to address grotto issue on February 21

SAULT STE. MARIE - City Council will consider the issue of a proposed grotto being built on Colonel Prince Island (Bellevue Park) at the February 21, 2012 Council meeting.

A public consultation meeting concerning the proposed grotto was held at the Civic Centre on June 16, 2011.

As a result of this previous meeting, there will be no delegations speaking on this topic at the February 21 meeting.

Members of the public interested in expressing opinions or providing input are encouraged to contact their Ward councillors.

Written comments received by the City Clerk’s office by 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 15 will be included in the February 21 Council agenda package.
