DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR KIDS ARE DOING? Heyden, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP were called to the Aweres Public School yesterday to speak to children about rocks being thrown and placed on Highway 17 in the Heyden area.

BROKEN NATURAL GAS LINE FORCES EVACUATION Echo Bay, Ont., A severed natural gas pipe line in downtown Echo Bay closed Hwy 17 and forced the evacuation of some businesses and homes in that town. At about 12:45 p.m.

Sault OPP are investigating a single vehicle accident that occurred this morning on highway 556 past Ranger Lake. There are few details at this time although it is known that the vehicle rolled over and that there are no injuries.

A 30-year old man was seriously injured last night in a skidder accident. Clay Chapman of Goulais River was working a skidder at Batchewana Station, approximately 120 kilometers north of The Sault.

A.T.V. ACCIDENT SENDS TWO MEN TO HOSPITAL Batchawana, Ont., On Saturday Nov. 3 2001, at about 1:00p.m. Batchawana Fire and Rescue responded with Sault Ste Marie OPP to help bring two men out of bush area after an A.T.V.

ANOTHER CAR DEER ACCIDENT Echo Bay, Ont. Sault Ste Marie OPP responded to another car-deer accident last night. At about 7:30 p.m. a vehicle was travelling on Hwy 17 in the Echo Bay area.
