Another honour for Greyhounds defenceman

Fresh off his Ontario Hockey League player of the week honour on Monday, Anthony DeAngelo has been named the Canadian Hockey League’s player of the week. The CHL announced the honour for the Greyhounds blueliner on Tuesday afternoon.

The CHL announced the honour for the Greyhounds blueliner on Tuesday afternoon.

DeAngelo had eight points in just two games last week.

On Friday night, DeAngelo scored twice and assisted on another goal as the Greyhounds beat the Windsor Spitfires 5-3.

On Sunday against the London Knights, DeAngelo had his first career five-point game in an 8-3 win over the London Knights. DeAngelo scored two goals and assisted on three others against the Knights.

The 19-year-old Tampa Bay Lightning prospect currently leads all OHL defencemen in scoring with 20 goals and 77 points in 49 games. In 20 games with the Greyhounds, DeAngelo has 10 goals and 39 points.
