The Customer service Award goes out to a business that raises customer service to new standards of excellence and is a model for other businesses in the community to follow.

******************* Congratulations to Savoy’s Jewellers on receiving this year’s Customer Service Award.

Savoy’s Jewellers was established in 1952 and today still continues to operate at the same location at 290 Queen Street East.

The look of the store has changed dramatically, however!

The business originally began as a small venture with an 8 by 10 square foot show room and stock consisting of four rings, 16 watches and $200 worth of jewelry!

Today, Savoy’s occupies not just the entire Queen Street building, but a second location as well in the Station Mall, with a dedicated staff of over 20 full-time employees between the two locations.

Richard and Roger Rosset attribute customer service to the ongoing success of the family-owned business.

Savoy’s Jewellers not only manages one of the largest jewelry repair departments in Northern Ontario, but employs many certified professionals which guarantees that all of the customer’s needs can be met when dealing with Savoy’s. Staff at Savoy’s include five certified goldsmiths and three graduate gemologists.

Combined with the well-certified and expert knowledge of sales and service personnel, Savoy’s can ensure that clientele receive on-site assistance with virtually all their needs, questions and repairs.

It is also a strong commitment to customer service, which has led to relations with customers that have endured not just for years, but for generations!
