Stop that Shania! Just stop it!

SooToday.com News has received the following note from faithful reader Allison Pomeroy, who spotted this shameful photo of way-too-seductive Canadian country legend Shania Twain on one of our news stories:

I am writing to you in complaint over the picture used in the advertisement of the Shania Twain Centre through Tourism Timmins viewed on your website this evening.

When I clicked on the news report of the transport rollover update I was surprised to see a seductive picture of a woman and was concerned that one of my young children would see and wonder what kind of website I was viewing.

I would hope that the advertisement would be reviewed and a more tasteful photo could be replaced.

I have also e-mailed the Tourism Timmins website directly.

I would hope that you would use every effort possible to keep your website as family-friendly as possible.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review this advertisement and prevent future situations like this.
