His name is Chi Pig.

He's a Canadian punk rock legend.

Okay.

Actually, his name is Ken Chinn and he's crazy as a June bug.

But it's a healthy kind of "crazy" that makes for one heck of a fun punk rock show.

Mr. Pig and his band SNFU performed for about 150 joyfully uplifted Sault punk fans at the Grand Theatre last night.

Formed in 1981, SNFU has seen its share of the road, performing more than 2,400 shows throughout its career with a revolving door of band members and a couple of hiatuses thrown in along the way.

Arguably, it's Mr. Pig's legendary stage antics that keep fans coming back again and again, although his punk rock lifestyle has aged him well beyond his 46 years.

He told SooToday.com before the show that he stopped spitting on and launching "snot rockets" at the audience a few years ago.

We thank you for that, Mr. Pig.

Instead, he used said mucous and spit to style his hair early into last night's escapades.

We honestly have no clue what was included on the set list of 30 songs that ranged from between 20 seconds and three minutes in length.

We were far too busy trying to protect our camera gear and not get killed in the mosh pit.

The perfect sign of a successful punk rock show.

Chi Pig told Sun Media's Kevin Mainmann last year that he'll continue to entertain fans until "he starts sucking at it."

Based on the lack of suck last night, we're confident SNFU will be around for quite some time.
