Jamie Sanderson, Sault territory manager for Labatt Breweries of Canada, tells SooToday.com that the premium beer that's spawned no less than five "bring it to Canada" Facebook pages will be available here later this month.

"Bud Light Lime is a premium light beer with a splash of 100 percent natural lime flavor," declares the Bring Bud Light Lime to Canada Facebook page. "Once you go BL Lime, you never go back."

"Bud Light Lime is coming to Canada. It will be available May 25," says Sanderson, who learned of the development at a managers' meeting on Friday in Toronto. "Bud Light Lime is a huge success in the USA, doubling the projected forecast in the first year," Sanderson says. "More than 50 percent of product availability calls to the Anheuser-Busch USA call centre came from Canada."
