12 more questions on lottery scandal and still no answers from McGuinty

(Queen’s Park) – Progressive Conservative Party Leader John Tory today asked Dalton McGuinty what he’s hiding and why he won’t hold a Legislative inquiry into the lottery scandal.

Both opposition parties support a Legislative committee investigating Lottogate.

"It’s been three weeks now and still we have a shocking display of weak leadership from Dalton McGuinty," said Tory.

"All the other parties want a legislative committee to investigate," he said.

"Our caucus will participate in any way that committee chooses."

"The question is what is Dalton McGuinty hiding and why won’t he participate?"

During question period today, Tory and the PC Caucus asked questions number 122 through 133 to Dalton McGuinty’s government about its cover-up of the lottery scandal.

Dalton McGuinty has yet to provide a straight answer.

"We’ve now asked 133 questions and received 0 answers," said Tory.

"Today’s performance by Dalton McGuinty and his government was unbelievable."

"We’re asking a simple question – what is he hiding?"

"He should call a legislative inquiry immediately."
