Retired Algoma Steel engineer Attilio Berdusco was honoured Saturday at the Rotary Science Fair at Algoma University College.

The local Rotarian accepted the 2005 Distinguished Service Award from the Youth Science Foundation Canada for his many years of organizing the local science fair.

Winning berths in the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Vancouver were Jennifer Payne from Sir James Dunn Collegiate and Vocational School, Justin Oja and Kelly Barrett from Parkland Public School and Anna Canduro from St. Mary's French Immersion School.
