New features come to SooToday

Jerry Shields is on the move.

You may have already noticed that Jerry, the Sault and Algoma’s own resident weather expert, is now publishing his Monday workweek outlook and Friday weekend outlook on SooToday.

Also, Jerry has begun updating his weather discussion on SooToday’s weather page starting this month. 

These changes are part of a greater shift of content from our sister site LOCAL2 which is strengthening and growing its great video offerings with shows like New in the Sault, Random Acts of Kindness, Soo Greyhounds highlights, Bare and more.

As part of that transition, St. Joseph Island reporter Donna Schell’s work is now being featured on SooToday under our new District News section, and our weekly tourism feature, Outdoors in Algoma, will soon appear on our Editorials/Columns page.
