An arctic high pressure system currently over Northwestern Ontario will build over the province tonight.
With gradually clearing skies and light winds, temperatures are expected to drop down to near or several degrees below freezing overnight and Thursday morning.
Temperatures are expected to modify upward and stay above the freezing mark for most regions Thursday night and Friday morning.
However, a frost advisory may have to be issued again for Northeastern Ontario.
Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required, so stay tuned to your local media or Weatheradio.
