The Olympic-themed ring owned by Brad Jacobs has been recovered by RCMP, according to Jacobs' Twitter feed.
As reported by SooToday.com earlier this week, the ring was stolen along with other personal effects of the Olympic gold-medalist from a hotel room in Boyle, Alberta.
In a Tweet sent this morning, Jacobs said "Thank you citizens of Boyle, AB and @RCMPAlberta for your amazing team work in locating my belongings. Special thanks to Cons. Alex Ayres!"
Jacobs adds he will be taking the ring in for a cleaning.
