Roach found dead on Highway 17B by a motorist in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 13.

Today, Sault Ste. Marie OPP sent out the following release regarding progress in that investigation.

Vehicle and driver involved in Highway 17B fatality identified

Vehicle involved in Highway 17B fatality located, investigation continues

GARDEN RIVER FIRST NATION, ON - Sault Ste Marie Ontario Provincial Police along with assistance of the Anishnabek Police Service continue their investigation into a traffic fatality that occurred on Hwy 17B approximately 500 metres west of Bell’s Point Road on October 13, 2013.

The OPP have identified the vehicle and driver involved in the incident.

At this point, due to the ongoing investigation, no further details are being released.

OPP urge any person with information regarding this investigation or may have been travelling in the area at that time, to contact the Sault Ste Marie OPP or their nearest police authority.
