SooToday.com has received a series of midway photos from loyal readers Violet Aubertin and Alisa Broad.

"The Campbell Amusements come to town every year," writes Violet. "Many people frown on barriers such as the expense to ride, perhaps the danger, the thrill/or less than thrill for being turned every which way or maybe even live by the lore that every time they come to town the weather gets bad. Thanks to one of my photography instructors I have learned to enjoy the fair from a different angle. I live vicariously through my photographs. I think everyone should get out and enjoy and if you cannot then enjoy the photos."

And Alisa notes: "Here are some photographs I took of the fair last night. It was still bringing in many people on such a lovely warm evening, even since the accident with the zipper.
