NEWS RELEASE

A 34 year-old female will be appearing in bail court this morning charged with one count of attempt murder and four counts of breach of probation in relation to a domestic related incident that occurred on the 18_^th of April at approximately 3 am.

It is alleged that the accused attended at the residence of her ex-boyfriend armed with a knife and stabbed him with it while he slept.

The victim received serious, non-life threatening injuries as result that required medical treatment.

At the time of the incident the accused was on probation with conditions that she not communicate, molest harass or annoy the victim, not to attend at his residence and to keep the peace and be good.
