Saturday, March 24, 2012   by: Rob Majury
Algoma University proudly presented their annual exhibition, entitled Emergent today.

It featured the work of Fine Arts Students.

Emergent features works in a wide range of media including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture and digital practices by artists and students currently enrolled in courses at all levels of study at Algoma University.

This weekend-long exhibition is installed and presented at 794 and 796 Queen Street East (formerly My Marie's floral and Berkana Art Studio), in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Sootoday.com would like to urge the community to attend this exhibition and support the talented students Algoma University and Sault Ste. Marie has to offer.

The photo gallery highlights just three of the many artists whose work is available for viewing at the exhibition.
  • Luther Kondau - Self Portrait in Charcoal (covershot)
  • Sarah Buyrne - Acrylic Painting on Canvas
  • Kellsie Bordin - Ink and Charcoal
The exhibit was open today until 4 p.m. and will be open Sunday, March 25, from 2 to 5 p.m.
