Legion Hapkido competed at the Northern Ontario Martial Arts Championships in Elliot Lake on Saturday, April 22. 

The following students competed and placed in their divisions:

  • Madison Bariault-Farrell (first in forms, second in self-defence, first in weapons, second in sparring – Novice 11-12)
  • Colton McComb (fourth in weapons, third in self-defence, first in sparring – Novice 11-12)
  • Brooke Irwin (third in weapons, fourth in self-defence - Novice)
  • Jase Irwin (first in self-defence, first in sparring, first in forms and fourth in weapons – Novice 7-8)
  • Wendy Chrysler (first in sparring, second in weapons, third in self-defence and fourth in forms – 36 and older, all belts)
  • Arja Chrysler (third in self-defence, second in sparring, second in forms and second in weapons)
  • Zoe Mathieu-Perks (competed in all divisions – Novice 11-12)
  • Steven Jensen (fourth in weapons and fourth in forms – black belt, men, 36 and older division)

We are proud of their accomplishments at the tournament – way to go, Legion Hapkido!
