Sault library digging out military history from the archives

For anyone interested in Canadian military history, the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library archives has something for you.

The North Branch Library will be hosting an archive program highlighting Private Edwin Durham’s WWI collection.

Attendees will be able to follow his journey from the Second Battle of Ypres to his time in a German POW camp.

This program will be held on Feb. 28 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Registration is free and opens at 10 a.m. on Feb. 7. Anyone interested in participating should call the North Branch Library at 705-759-5248.
