The Roberta Bondar pavilion got a cleansing hit of alternative rock Saturday night as homeboy frontman Greig Nori (shown) and Treble Charger performed cuts from their latest album Detox.

"By far the best freakin' concert I have ever been to," says one fan in a Sunday-morning posting on the official Treble Charger website. "I live in the Soo and you guys make me proud to be from here."

The video for Hundred Million, the lead track from Treb's Detox album, attracted international interest earlier this year over rumours that the performer mooning the crowd in a rapid-edit sequence might be Avril Lavigne.

Lavigne is certainly in the Treble Charger video, but we're pleased to report that the backside in question belongs not to her, but to Tom Thacker of the punk band Gob.
