Second concert of Mocha Shriners series cancelled

The upcoming Kim Mitchell and 54.40 concert scheduled at the GFL Memorial Gardens on Sept. 20 has been cancelled.

A notice issued by F7 Entertainment says the cancellation is due to “unforeseen scheduling issues.”

“Refunds will be made available through the original points of purchase starting Friday, Sept. 16.”

The Kim Mitchell performance was to be part of a concert series presented by the Mocha Shriners.

This is the second in the series to be cancelled after it was announced in August that country artist Paul Brandt would not be performing, also due to “unforeseen scheduling issues.”

The remaining concerts scheduled to take place are Walk Off the Earth with MONOWHALES on Sept. 19, Marianas Trench with The Trews on Sept. 22, and Burton Cummings on Sept. 23.
