Midget Wildcats edged in tournament final

The female Tenaris/Sling Choker Midget AA Wildcats returned home from the Minnesota Crunch Showcase Tournament with a 3-1 record. They advanced to the finals with a 3-0 round robin record.

The female Tenaris/Sling Choker Midget AA Wildcats returned home from the Minnesota Crunch Showcase Tournament with a 3-1 record.

They advanced to the finals with a 3-0 round robin record. In the round robin the Wildcats defeated Green Bay 2-1, Brandon, Manitoba 6-3 and Winnipeg 4-3.

The Wildcats were defeated in the finals 4-2 by the Thunder Bay Queens Midget AA hockey club in a close game.

The next tournament for the Midget Wildcats is in the Sault's Ice Breaker Cup Tournament November 5-8.
