A pair of players with ties to the Soo Greyhounds have been selected to participate in the 2015 CCM/USA Hockey All-American prospect game.

Greyhounds forward Tim Gettinger and prospect Jack Kopacka, who suited up in four games with the Greyhounds last season, have been named among the 42 players selected to compete in the game.

Gettinger scored 10 goals and 25 points in 54 regular season games before adding a goal and two points in six playoff contests.

Kopacka had an assist in four games with the Greyhounds last season but spent most of the season with the Compuware U18 team. In 21 games with Compuware, Kopacka scored eight goals and 18 points.

The game, scheduled for Sept. 24, features the top American-born prospects eligible for the 2016 National Hockey League entry draft. The game will be played at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, NY, home of the National Hockey League’s Buffalo Sabres.
