Soo Greyhounds forward Michael Bunting is the next member of the organization to have signed a National Hockey League contract.

The Arizona Coyotes announced on Thursday afternoon that they have inked 19-year-old to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Bunting scored 37 goals and 74 points in 57 games with the Greyhounds in the 2014-15 season after the Coyotes selected the Scarborough, Ont. native in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

In 14 playoff games, Bunting added nine goals and five assists with the Greyhounds.

In 105 career games with the Greyhounds, Bunting scored 52 goals and 116 points in two seasons.

In keeping with club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
