The Steelers dropped a 22-19 decision to the Sudbury Spartans in Sudbury on Saturday

The Spartans picked up the win thanks to a 15-yard touchdown run by Josh Cuomo with 1:58 left in the contest.

Scott Smith had a five-yard touchdown run while Dustin Crowder added a 16-yard touchdown catch for Sudbury.

Among the three touchdowns for Gauthier was an 83-yard run.

The Steelers end the regular season on July 25 on the road against the Sarnia Imperials.

The Spartans enter the final weekend of the NFC season with a 4-3 record.

In other action around the NFC on Saturday night, the Sarnia Imperials beat the Oakville Longhorns 31-30 in Oakville, the G.T.A. All Stars beat the Toronto Raiders 60-6, the Montreal Transit picked up a win on home field by beating the Ottawa Invaders 35-27 and the Hamilton Steel City Patriots went on the road and beat the Tri City Outlaws 22-21.
