The championship game for the City High School Senior Football League has its participants.

In semi-final action on Saturday, Superior Heights cruised to a 43-3 win over St. Mary’s while Korah grabbed the other spot in the final thanks to a 28-17 win over St. Basil.

In Superior Heights’ victory over St. Mary’s, Jeff Auger ran for touchdowns of three, eight and 68 yards. Mark McLean scored on a two-yard run while Cam Elgie caught touchdown passes of eight yards and 35 yards in the win.

In the other semi-final, Korah quarterback Evan Bodnar three touchdown passes of 10-yards to Avery Ciotti, 14 yards to Andrew Jones and 34 yards to Jarret Litalien. Litalien also ran back an interception 24 yards for a touchdown to round out the Korah scoring in the win.

Rocky Krancevich caught a 24-yard pass for a touchdown while Dominic Gervasi scored on a one-yard run for St. Basil.

The senior final is set for Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. at Rocky DiPietro Field.

Sault Ste. Marie will also play host to the NOSSA semi-final (Nov. 8) and final (Nov. 15). Both games are 1 p.m. starts at Superior Heights.

In the junior semi-final games over the weekend, Korah beat White Pines 38-6 and St. Mary’s beat Superior Heights 21-17.

The junior final is Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. at Superior Heights. The junior NOSSA final will also be in Sault Ste. Marie on Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. at Superior Heights.
