A busy night around the Ontario Hockey League saw the Ontario Hockey League’s longest scoring streak of the season snapped. In Guelph, Brady Vail had a goal and two assists as the Windsor Spitfires beat the Guelph Storm 4-2.

In Guelph, Brady Vail had a goal and two assists as the Windsor Spitfires beat the Guelph Storm 4-2. Josh Ho-Sang added a goal and an assist while Kerby Rychel had two assists. Ben Johnson and Cristiano DiGiacinto also scored for Windsor in the win. Alex Fotinos stopped 37 Guelph shots. Hunter Garlent and Ryan Horvat scored for Guelph in the loss. Storm forward Brock McGinn saw his 23-game point streak snapped in the loss. Prior to Friday night, McGinn had scored at least one point in every Storm game this season

In Kingston, Daniel Altshuller made 32 saves as the Oshawa Generals beat the Kingston Frontenacs 5-2. Josh Sterk had a goal and an assist while Michael Dal Colle set up two goals for Oshawa in the win. Aidan Wallace, Bradley Latour, Scott Laughton and Joe Manchurek also scored for the Generals. Sam Bennett and Robert Polesello scored for Kingston in the loss.

In St. Catharines, Franky Palazzese made 34 saves as the Sudbury Wolves beat the Niagara IceDogs 6-1. Nicholas Baptiste had a goal and two assists for Sudbury while recently-acquired overage defenceman Craig Duininck had three assists in the win. Stefan LeBlanc and Nathan Pancel chipped in with a goal and an assist each while Jacob Harris and Matt Schmalz also scored for the Wolves. Jesse Graham had the lone goal for Niagara.

In Sault Ste. Marie, Andrew Fritsch had a goal and two assists as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds snapped a losing streak with a 5-3 win over the Sarnia Sting. Jared McCann and Michael Bunting chipped in with a goal and an assist each while David Miller and Kyle Jenkins also scored for the Greyhounds. Nikolay Goldobin had a goal and an assist for Sarnia while defenceman Anthony DeAngelo added two assists. Vladislav Kodola and Davis Brown also scored in the loss.

In Saginaw, Victor Crus Rydberg scored at 1:14 of overtime to lift the Plymouth Whalers to a 4-3 win over the Saginaw Spirit. Crus Rydberg, Matt Mistele and Zach Lorentz had a goal and an assist each in the win while Mitch Jones also scored. Josh Wesley chipped in with two assists for the Whalers while goaltender Zack Bowman stopped 43 shots. Jimmy Lodge had a goal and an assist for Saginaw while Kristoff Kontos set up two goals. Sean Callaghan and Terry Trafford also scored for the Spirit.

In Kitchener, Curtis Meighan and Brent Pedersen had a goal and two assists as the Kitchener Rangers doubled up the Belleville Bulls 8-4. Rangers goaltender Jordan DeKort stopped 39 shots in the win while Ryan MacInnis and Darby Llewellyn had two goals each. Max Iafrate had a goal and an assist in the win while Justin Bailey also scored. Cameron Brace had a goal and an assist for Belleville while Jake Worrad, Jordan Subban and David Tomasek also scored.

In London, Anthony Stolarz made 38 saves as the London Knights beat the Erie Otters 4-1. Chris Tierney, Bo Horvat and Max Domi had a goal and an assist for London in the win while Brady Austin also scored. Jake Evans had the lone goal for Erie in the loss.

In Mississauga, Bobby MacIntyre’s goal late in the second period held up as the winner as the Mississauga Steelheads beat the Peterborough Petes 3-2. Austin Gerhart and Andrew Goldberg also scored for Mississauga in the win. Josh MacDonald and Jonatan Tanus scored for Peterborough in the loss.
