With five games on the OHL schedule for Tuesday, just one team put themselves in line for a sweep while another team has battled back from an 0-2 hole to tie their series.

In Mississauga, Dylan Smoskowitz scored a pair of goals as the Mississauga Steelheads evened their Eastern Conference quarter-final series at two with the Belleville Bulls. The Steelheads picked up a 5-2 win. Josh Burnside had a goal and two assists for Mississauga. Andres Kopstals and Riley Brace added a goal and an assist each in the win. Jake Cardwell and Joseph Cramarossa scored for Belleville in the loss.

In Saginaw, Alex Broadhurst scored three times as the London Knights beat the Saginaw Spirit 7-1. With the win, the Knights open up a 3-0 series lead over the Spirit. Remi Elie and Kyle Platzer had a goal and two assists each for London. Paxton Leroux and Nikita Zadorov also scored. Dalton Young had the lone Saginaw goal.

In Guelph, the Guelph Storm scored three times in the final six minutes of action, erasing a 2-0 deficit in the process, to beat the Kitchener Rangers 3-2. Andrey Pedan scored twice while Robert Fabbri scored the game-winner for the Storm. Kitchener now leads the series 2-1. Radek Faksa and Ben Thomson scored for the Rangers.

In St. Catharines, Christopher Festarini stopped 40 shots as the Niagara IceDogs doubled up the Oshawa Generals 4-2. Steven Shipley had two goals and an assist in the win. Brett Ritchie and Anthony DiFruscia also scored in the win. Scott Laughton and Cole Cassels scored for Oshawa in the loss. The Generals lead the series 2-1.

In Sudbury, Franky Palazzese stopped 39 shots as the Sudbury Wolves beat the Brampton Battalion 3-1. With the win the Wolves take a 2-1 series lead. Nathan Pancel, Mathew Campagna and Dominik Kubalik scored for Sudbury in the win. Blake Clarke scored for Brampton.

On the schedule on Wednesday are:

  • Kingston vs. Barrie (7 p.m.) - Barrie leads series 3-0
  • Sarnia vs. Plymouth (7 p.m.) - Plymouth leads series 3-0
  • Sault Ste. Marie vs. Owen Sound (7:07 p.m.) - Owen Sound leads series 2-1
