Bantam Sox finish Midland tournament 1-2
The Elks 341 Bantam Black Sox returned home from Midland, Michigan over the weekend after posting a 1-2 record.
The locals opened the tournament with an 11-4 win over Howell. Jordan Trudeau had a pair of singles and also stole two bases in the win. Liam Riley also singled twice and knocked in three runs. Beau Nolan and Zach Duchesne also had singles in the win.
In their second game, the Black Sox dropped a 5-1 decision to Shelby. Ronnie Sayers and Jarrod Sachro had singles in the loss.
The Black Sox wrapped up the tournament with a 6-5 loss to Bay City. Trudeau singled twice in the loss while Duchesne, Nolan and Mike Wilson also had singles in the loss.
Next action is this Tuesday at we host the Soo Michigan Travelers at 7:00 PM.
