SAULT STE. MARIE MUSEUM

************************* Through the Years

The Sault Ste. Marie Museum will present an "Evening of Music and Remembrance - Through The Years," on Wednesday, November 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Willowgrove United Church, 55 Tilley Rd.

“We invite people to join us as we pay tribute to all those who served and are currently serving our country,” says museum curator Kim Forbes.

“This year will be our tenth and final year for the concert and we are dedicating the evening to the late Lt. Col. Walter Wallace. He served for several years on the museum's board of directors and was a strong advocate of promoting our city's history,” continued Forbes.

Groups taking part this year are the Royal Canadian Legion Drum & Trumpet Band, the 49th Field Regiment Pipes & Drums, Yesterday’s Wine, and the Northland Barbershop Chorus.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7:30 p.m.

Come out and show your support and pride in our veterans.

“Our city has a long history of supporting our troops from the First World War to the present day,” says Forbes.

Tickets for the concert are $10 per person and can be purchased at the museum or by calling the museum at 705-759-7278.

Reserve your tickets in advance and pick them up at the door the evening of the concert.
