*************************** Appointments to boards and committees

SAULT STE. MARIE - In December 2011, the Sault Ste. Marie City Council will appoint either a member of Council or a citizen to the following boards and committees.

In brackets are the numbers to be appointed: 

- Committee of Adjustment (1)

- Planning Advisory Committee (1)

- Sault Ste. Marie Accessibility Advisory Committee (1)

- Sault Ste. Marie Region Conservation Authority (1)

City Council is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on any of the above boards or committees.

Individuals are asked to submit a letter outlining their background and interest in the board or committee. 

Anyone wishing to be considered for more than one board or committee must submit a letter for each one. 

Appointments are for the balance of a two-year term (2011/12) or four-year term (2011/14). 

Letters of application will be received by the City Clerk, Level 4, Civic Centre until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011.
