35 soggy Santa Parade photos

It was a damp and dreary evening as Sault Ste. Marie welcomed the arrival of the guy in red during the annual Rotary Santa Claus Parade last night.

The unseasonal rain didn't dampen the city's holiday spirit, however, as hordes of onlookers lined Queen Street to officially kick off the Christmas season.

If you were one of the few that decided to stay warm and dry at home rather than venture out to greet Santa, never fear.

Jolly ol' Saint Nick will be available at the Station Mall for photos Wednesday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m.
