AN INSIGNIFICANT HARVEY

*************************** An Insignificant Harvey opens at Sault Ste. Marie's Grand Theatre

Canadian film by writer/director Jeff Kopas co-stars Sault Ste. Marie native Steven McCarthy

SAULT STE. MARIE - An Insignificant Harvey continues on its Canadian tour as the feature film by writer/director Jeff Kopas stops for a special screening at the Grand Theatre in Sault Ste. Marie.

The film features Steven McCarthy (Lucas), a Canadian actor who was born and raised in the city.

Kopas will be on hand for a Q and A following the screening and every guest will enjoy a complimentary beer with their ticket purchase courtesy of film sponsor Steam Whistle.

An Insignificant Harvey tells the story of Harvey Lippe, (Jordan Prentice, In Bruges) a little person and orphan who has never fit in.

Harvey chooses to be isolated, residing in a trailer far from his job as a janitor for a local ski resort.

On a seemingly normal day, Harvey crosses paths with a stray husky.

Unable to make the dog leave, Harvey takes her in.

Much to his surprise, by taking in the dog, Inca, Harvey opens a whole new world for himself - a world where his life can truly begin.

As Harvey teaches all of us, An Insignificant Harvey is a movie about not feeling small, even if you are.

Traveling in an airstream trailer similar to one lived in by the film’s main character, Kopas will take the film’s star husky Inca on the road and stop in locations where the film will be screened, from major cities to small towns.
