*************************** SooToday.com has just received word that all programs scheduled for today at the Sault Ste. Marie YMCA have been canceled.

*************************** The folks at Crimson Ridge Golf Course have decided they're tired of chasing golf balls in 60 km/h winds.

They inform SooToday.com they will be closing for the weekend.

But not for the season.

"The course has not officially closed for the season and will re open once the weather improves hopefully Monday for one final week," says an email message from the course. "The Golf Shop will be open Monday morning at 8:30 a.m."
