Say 'hello' to Eleven Bistro and Bake Shoppe

A new downtown eatery opened today at 626 Queen Street East.

Eleven Bistro and Bake Shoppe, created by the husband and wife duo of Manda and Mark Hohmann, serves a variety of healthy eats and artisan baking, using fresh local organic produce when possible.

Menu items include a breakfast panini, the Sloppy Schmoe (a spicy meatless sloppy joe made with lentils, onions and hot peppers), and homemade pickles available in four varieties - sour, sweet, hot (3,000 Scoville heat units), and fallout (20,000 Scoville heat units).

Eleven is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Also new in the downtown area is The Press Box, your one-stop shop for new and used sports cards, memorabilia and collectibles.

The Press Box is located at 494 Queen Street East and open every weekend.
