What: First annual Fire Truck Pull When: September 24, 2011 - 9 a.m. registration, 10 a.m. start

Summary

Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District Crime Stoppers is challenging the community to put a team together to see who can pull a fire truck 50 feet in the shortest time.

Prizes will be awarded to the teams with the fastest times and also to the individuals who raise the most money in support of Crime Stoppers.

Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest or charges laid.

Since inception Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District Crime Stoppers have been responsible for 3,954 cases cleared, 2,230 arrests, $3,431,590 in property recovered, and $6,405,982.50 in narcotics recovered.
