Timothy Laplante accused of impaired driving

************************* Last night at approximately 8:10 p.m., City Police received a cell phone call from a citizen, who was following a possible impaired driver on Second Line West.

Police attended in the area and observed the suspect vehicle driving in an erratic manner.

Officers stopped the vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver.

Charged with one count of impaired driving and one count of driving over 80 milligrams is Timothy Laplante, age 42 of 1160 Allen’s Side Road.

He will be appearing in court on June 8 at 9 a.m.
