Jim Cook and wife Patti drove all the way from Wausau, Wisconsin for the weekend's Sixth Annual Outhouse Races in the Michigan Soo.

Well, not really.

But the thundershack races were definitely high on the list of events the Yooper-turned-Cheesehead was eager to take in while visiting many of his 15 brothers and sisters.

Cook also took in the vintage snow machine races at the I-500 track and paid a visit to the West Pier Drive-In.

"That's my thing," he told SooToday.com. "Their combination sub is my official road sandwich."

Although the West Pier Drive-In was not one of the four teams that took part in the annual Yoopers Pushing Poopers event yesterday, Aaron's Rentals, the Corner Pub, the Soo Brew Crew and the City of Sault Ste. Marie were all represented.
