Maxime Bernier's resignation as foreign affairs minister has been accepted by Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the CBC reports.
Bernier had been under opposition fire during the past few weeks over his former relationship with Julie Couillard - a Quebec actor with alleged ties to biker gangs.
