OPP seek help in copper wire theft

OPP requesting public’s assistance in copper wire theft

WAWA, ON - The Superior East Wawa OPP is currently investigating a theft of copper wires taken from the Andrew’s Generating Station located approximately 90 kilometers south of Wawa.

During the early hours of Sunday, November 4, unknown persons entered the closed compound where approximately 200 pounds of copper wire was removed.

The value is estimated at approximately $400.

Early investigation reveals that a gold-colored Chevy/GMC pickup truck may have been involved in this incident.
