The Union Jack Brewing Company would like to welcome you to an open house Saturday October 10th from 12-2 pm.

During the event we will announce the winner of the Name our cream ale contest as well as provide samples of our Brewmaster’s newest creation, the pumpkin spice.

Sausages will be provided by Low and Slow with all donations going to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

The event is free to the public and it will give all those interested a chance to see how beer is made.

The event will also highlight “Tommy” the musical being held at the Mill Machine Shop November 4, 5, 7, 8, which Union Jack Brewing Company will be the sole beer supplier for the four shows.

The Union Jack Brewing Company is a local craft brewery that was opened in May 2015 and has grown steadily since then.

The beer can now be found in more than 10 restaurants and bars within Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding area.

The brewery is located at 9 Queen Street East in Sault Ste Marie, ON

About Tommy

Directed by Sue Barber and Anthony Aceti, Tommy is the story of a young boy who, after witnessing a traumatic event, goes deaf, dumb and blind.

Unable to speak, hear or see, he suffers abuse from sadistic relatives and neighbours until he discovers his talents in front of a pinball machine.

Tommy is filled with the classic rock music of The Who, including one of their most famous hits, Pinball Wizard.

All music will be played by local rock band, That’s Chester (Greg Simpson, Gabe Tessaro, Eugene Orlando, Aubrey Falls and Ric Datson).
